Pentagon SEO Founder Sue Reay joins Sip Media Solutions as Sales Director

Sip Media Solutions are delighted to announce that Pentagon SEO Sales Director Sue Reay has joined to oversee all commercial and sales operations.

Sue brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Sip Media Solutions having cut her teeth in a telesales managerial role with Bass Brewery in the North West in the 1990s.

She then launched Female First with husband Stephen Reay in 2003.

What started out as a lingerie business grew into one of the UK’s biggest female websites which had over 4million monthly unique users who came to the site for fashion news, celebrity gossip, entertainment news, lifestyle content and competitions.

STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

Sue specialises in forging strong relationships with clients, and has worked in the betting and gaming industry in recent years, managing campaigns for the likes of 888, Betway and Bet365.

She also has strong ties with the motoring and travel industry, working for the likes of Honda, Lexus, Jaguar and Kia, and supplying motoring and hotel reviews.

Sue worked alongside Sip Media Solutions Managing Editor Simon Wilkes during their time with Planet Sport Group - and the duo have now reunited, with Pentagon SEO handling all sales requirements for the fast-growing network of News Blitz sites and client brands.

Simon said: “I’m delighted to add Sue to the Sip Media Solutions team as we have worked together for nearly a decade and we have complete trust in each other’s abilities.

“We share a similar ethos to how clients should be managed, and Sue brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the sales and business development team.

Simon is the Managing Director for Sip Media Solutions and Co-Founder for Sports News Blitz.

Simon did a BA HONS journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire between 1994-97, then joined Press Association Sport as a reporter, covering Wimbledon, football, boxing and snooker among other sports.

He joined TEAMtalk in 2001 and remained as Editor until taking a role as Production Editor for Sky Sports Digital Media in 2012.

Simon left Sky Sports in 2014 and set up SJWilkes Media Ltd, which was purchased by Ole! Media Limited in January 2015.

He was appointed Head of Publishing for the Planet Sport network in January 2016 and grew the sites from an audience of 4million readers to 15million in six years.

Simon supports West Brom, the Cincinnati Bengals and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
