SIMON WILKES
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Simon is an accomplished digital project manager and senior leader with over 25 years’ experience in digital media, content strategy, journalism and SEO.
He is the beating heart of Sip Media Solutions having launched the brand in 2024 - and is the Co-founder of Sports News Blitz, Film News Blitz and SEO Lab 24.
Simon has a solid background in journalism and bags of E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), having worked for Sky Sports Digital Media, TEAMtalk Media Group, 365 Media Group, Press Association Sport and Planet Sport Ltd.
He is a confident and positive operations manager with a proven ability of adapting content within a fast-moving and evolving digital media landscape.
Simon thrives on building relationships and has developed a strong network across the digital industry in the UK and USA since graduating from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) with a 2-1 BA (Hons) Journalism degree in 1997.
He is a successful people manager who provides strong leadership, clear direction and cultivates a positive environment to enable individuals to play to their strengths and deliver their best work.
SUE REAY
SALES DIRECTOR
Sue Reay brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Sip Media Solutions in terms of commercial, sales and business development.
Having cut her teeth in a telesales managerial role with Bass Brewery in the North West in the 1990s, she launched Female First with husband Stephen Reay in 2003.
What started out as a lingerie business grew into one of the UK’s biggest female websites which had over 4million monthly unique users who came to the site for fashion news, celebrity gossip, entertainment news, lifestyle content and competitions.
Sue specialises in forging strong relationships with clients, and has worked in the betting and gaming industry in recent years, managing campaigns for the likes of 888, Betway and Bet365.
She also has strong ties with the motoring and travel industry, working for the likes of Honda, Lexus, Jaguar and Kia, and supplying motoring and hotel reviews.
Sue worked alongside Sip Media Solutions Managing Editor Simon Wilkes during their time with Planet Sport Group - and the duo have now reunited, with Pentagon SEO handling all sales requirements for the fast-growing network of News Blitz sites and client brands.
SCOTT ALLEN
BETTING, MARKETING, CONTENT & SEO CONSULTANT
Scott is an innovative content, marketing and communications specialist with over 20 years’ experience working across B2B and B2C brands and SMEs.
He cut his teeth as a business and sports reporter at the Press Association before moving into more senior roles at Orange working in live content, data, product, project management, as well as leading large teams across multiple offices.
A head of marketing and communications role at one of the world’s leading sports surface providers (STRI) saw him work at a strategic global level across Europe, Australia, China and the Middle East - delivering marketing and communications solutions at some of the biggest sporting events in the world including the World Cup, The Open, Wimbledon and the world’s richest horse race the Saudi Cup.
At Planet Sport, Scott managed the editorial arm of the betting division delivering daily tips content across the businesses’ suite of sites as well as producing horse racing and football podcasts.
In his spare time, Scott is an author of children's books, Llama United and Llamas Go Large published by Pan Macmillan Children's and 'On Your Marks, Get Set, Gold', published by Nosy Crow.
Brought up in the shadow of Epsom's famous racecourse, Scott brings his knowledge of horse racing to SIP Media Solutions, in addition to the wide range of sports he has spent the last 20 years covering.
JACK WILKES (JACKED UP MEDIA)
CMS & WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Jack helps individuals and companies bring their digital projects to life.
From building websites from scratch to updating existing platforms, constructing sales funnels, troubleshooting, and creating compelling digital media assets, he ensures your digital presence is both effective and engaging.
Jack efficiently manages time to ensure project milestones are met and has these skills and tools in his locker:

Jiska is a social media manager and marketer, with a passion for creating impactful connections in the digital landscape.
She has honed her expertise across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Her journey in the industry has not only given her the technical know-how but has also nurtured her commitment to delivering successful results while forming strong and meaningful client relationships.
She thrives on designing and executing strategic campaigns that cut through the digital noise, driving engagement and conversions, and continues to learn new skills to better her understanding of this ever-evolving world.

MATT DUDLEY
SPORTS NEWS BLITZ CO FOUNDER; AUDIO, VIDEO & SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CONSULTANT
Matt completed a degree in Broadcast Journalism student at Leeds Trinity University in 2025 - and is the Co Founder of Sports News Blitz, overseeing all video and social media content.
He has commentated on Notts County games for Nottingham Hospital Radio for the last two seasons and has a wealth of writing experience having created content for TheRealEFL, The Nottingham Sport and Vodacom Soccer.
Matt joined the growing sports platform LookSportMedia as a podcast host - and is the driving force behind the Sports News Blitz podcast and social media channels.
He is the producer and star of the Welcome to TASC - Relegation to Redemption documentary series on Youtube, and oversees all video and podcast requirements and projects for Sip Media Solutions’ clients and owned brands.
MICHAEL DAVEY
SPORTS NEWS BLITZ CONTENT EDITOR; CMS & CONTENT CONSULTANT
Michael is based in South Africa and did an internship with Sip Media Solutions as part of his Digital Media & Film degree at the University of Cape Town.
He runs the Sports News Blitz website alongside Deputy Editor Nicole Powell on a daily basis - and is a Manchester United fan who also follows cricket, tennis and rugby union, supporting the Springboks and Proteas.
Michael is a keen runner and has travelled the world, taking in the USA, Australia and Thailand, where he taught English to students.
He loves data analysis and creating engaging sports content, and has also relished the challenge of mastering the ‘dark arts’ of SEO and Wordpress CMS optimisation.
NICOLE POWELL
WRITER, CMS CONSULTANT & TRANSFER NEWS BLITZ CONTENT EDITOR
Nicole is a sports writer and editor specialising in motorsport and football, currently managing the Last Word On Sports affiliate site Extra Time Talk.
She joined Sip Media Solutions in late 2024 and now serves as Content Editor for Transfer News Blitz, alongside her role as sub-editor for various News Blitz brands including Sports News Blitz.
She creates engaging, high-quality content across WordPress and Squarespace, combining creativity with strong editorial standards and attention to detail.
A Chelsea and Ferrari fan, Nicole brings the same passion and perspective into her sports writing.
A perfectionist at heart (and mildly allergic to typos), she approaches every project with professionalism and her signature enthusiasm for all things sport.
DAN LAWRENCE

Dan Lawrence is the co-founder of Film News Blitz, using the skills and passion he developed during a Scriptwriting for Film and Television degree at Bournemouth University.
Since graduating in 2018, Dan has worked across a variety of different digital media.
From co-producing award-winning radio dramas to managing sports social media content, writing for online film websites and working as a deputy editor for an FIA-accredited motorsport news site, Dan has recently brought his skills to an international advertising agency as a content editor.
At Film News Blitz, Dan takes the lead across editorial, video and social content, and is dedicated to curating a positive online space that celebrates film through news, opinions and reviews.
AIDAN LEO
NEWS LAB 24 CONTENT EDITOR, CO-FOUNDER OF SEO LAB 24
Aidan is the Co-founder of SEO Lab 24 and Content Editor for News Lab 24, as well as being on the sub-editing team for Sports News Blitz, Sport Just Sport and News Just News.
He assists Managing Editor Simon Wilkes on the SIP Media brands and clients - and is a creative at heart, with a strong background in film, photography/videography, graphic design and video editing.
Aidan mainly utilises his website enhancement skills and journalistic expertise in his work with SIP, including writing, sub-editing and publishing, and CMS optimisation for brands and clients.
He is a University of Cape Town graduate, with a Bachelor’s Degree specialising in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, Film/Cinema/Video Studies, and English Language and Literature.
Aidan is a stalwart Springbok fan and devoted Chelsea supporter, as well as a late 90s/early 2000s cult film lover.
His other interests include the golden age of music, food, fashion, and anime.
ANNA FERRAZ

MUSIC NEWS BLITZ CONTENT EDITOR
Anna is a multimedia specialist who works across all forms of digital media. From photography and video editing to writing and social media, she has a passion for every medium of creative and technical media strategy.
Anna graduated in 2025 from the University of Cape Town, earning her Film and Media undergraduate degree and her Honours degree in Media Theory and Practice.
She has a special interest in digital media and algorithms, and wrote her dissertation about the influence of algorithmic platform power in South Africa and globally.
A true theatre lover at heart, Anna is also an actress and previously completed a media internship at ASSITEJ South Africa, “a national network organisation of artists, educators, organisations and institutions from all provinces”.
With her interests lying in music, film and pop culture, Anna is working as a content editor for SIP Media, while also writing and creating content for the Music News Blitz site and clients.
Her hobbies include reciting the entire Hamilton musical by heart, spending time with animals, watching as many television series as she can and listening to Taylor Swift on repeat.
JULIETTE WHITE
CONTENT WRITER & CMS CONSULTANT
Juliette White is based in South Africa and is a final-year Bachelor of Social Sciences student at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Media Studies and Industrial Sociology.
She is a passionate sports writer with an interest in football, Formula One, mixed martial arts (MMA) and the NFL, combining research and analysis to produce engaging sports content.
Juliette also has experience in digital sports journalism, subediting and search engine optimisation (SEO), working with WordPress and Squarespace content management systems to refine articles and maximise their online reach.
She has further developed her skills in multimedia journalism through filming and editing video content.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Juliette enjoys covering the latest developments across the sporting world, from the drama of Formula One to the excitement of football and the NFL.
ZACH HEYNES
WRITER, VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR, CMS CONSULTANT
TRAVEL NEWS BLITZ CONTENT EDITOR
Zach Heynes is a South African multimedia freelancer with a background in journalism, digital media and videography.
His career and interests are defined by his love for storytelling, creativity and community, and he spends his time immersed in travel, internet culture, film and music.
Zach is a University of Cape Town graduate, having completed an Honours with distinction in Media Theory & Practice. As a member of the Digital Media Sociology postgraduate group, his research focused on the creator economy and digital platforms.
At SIP Media, Zach is a member of the sub-editing team for sites including News Just News and Music News Blitz, and is also the Content Editor for Travel News Blitz. Additionally, he contributes to the social media team with video production and editing.
Outside of SIP, Zach actively participates in local film and media events in Cape Town, and is otherwise working on personal creative projects such as short films, travel vlogs and writing he shares online.
NOAH NGCOBO
CONTENT WRITER & CMS CONSULTANT
Noah is based in South Africa and completed a Bachelor's degree in Media & Writing before undertaking an Honours in Media Theory & Practice at the University of Cape Town.
He is a writer with flair and has an ability to analyse sports data, creating engaging sports content across his favourite sports football, Formula One, rugby union and basketball (NBA).
Noah has mastered the art of optimising articles, tags and categories for maximum SEO impact on Wordpress content management systems.
He is a Manchester United and LA Lakers fan, and loves nothing more than writing about the Red Devils, while also following the Springboks and Bafana Bafana with passion.
